The Active Autowerke flywheel carries less than half the weight of the factory flywheel and is ideal both for street and race application.

The factory flywheel weighs 35+ lbs and the Active Autowerke all aluminum flywheel weighs 12 lbs. The weight differences allows for the engine to experience a quicker engine response due to the weight savings on rotational mass. Reducing the weight of the flywheel will noticeabliy improve acceleration.

The Active Autowerke aluminum flywhelel can be used in conjunction with your existing BMW Factory clutch assembly on 6 speed manual and SMG.

Now available is a complete clutch kit for the E46 M3 that has much more clamping force that the factory BMW kit for the E46 M3. This clutch kit is ideally suited to match performance upgrades like the addition of software, exhaust and air intake.

Clutch kit will fit your existing factory flywheel or the all aluminum Active Autowerke lightened flywheel without any concerns on 6 speed manual and SMG.
